Tax Buried in Obama Health-care Plan Will Kill 43,000 Jobs

The president’s health care overhaul includes a 2.3 percent excise tax on medical devices that will send the durable medical equipment industry into intensive care, eliminate 43,000 jobs, and whack $3.5 billion from local shops and communities, according to a new study by two free market economists.
The 30-page report, released on Wednesday by the Advanced Medical Technology Association, a trade group, also concludes that the tax on medical equipment may prompt the closure of high-tech research facilities in several states.
That trade group released its report predicting massive job losses, just one day before President Obama is scheduled to present a new job-creation plan to a joint session of Congress on Thursday evening.
“The new 2.3% excise tax will roughly double the device industry’s total tax bill,” wrote Harold and Diana Furchtgott-Roth, ”and raise the average effective corporate income tax rate to one the highest effective tax rates faced by any industry in the world.” They also wrote that the tax will be paid by companies that are already losing money.

We have been through Obama’s Summer of Recovery and all that did was give billions to his supporters so they could get their millions in bonuses. That was 2010 and now 2011 is Summer of Failure. Next Summer will be the Summer of riots and Martial Law. This will be the way he stays in Power as Dictator-in_Chief of America. He has declared America is no longer a Christian Nation and look what has happened he he made God Mad! Mother Nature has given a blow to those who voted for Obama and the worse is still to come. This country was built on Chistianity and if you take that away then, he will give your country away to the Radicals who are in the Democratic Party.

I call and send articles to my congressman and representitives every day they have to be sick of me. First time in my life to take so much action. But I can see what Obama and his group are doing to America. I do believe he is destroying our country from within just like 9/11 started and didn’t get the job done. His actions have spoke loud and clear to me. I recently researched how much foreign aid for aids and health has been given under Obama the article started with Bush and showned the plans for future I was so mad after I found and read the articles I sent them to the tea party. Someone with more larger power has to do something than a simple every day person out here in the world. This is a every day 2 hours or more to keep up with the news and take action but the more we write and make other citizens aware of what is being spent on foreign countries and wasteful spending will open more eyes up to the truth. When you have a question just research it on the computer several different articles and learn as much as you can about how to improve our country. We have to get the right person in office to beat Obama or we may as well kiss our country good by at my age they will give me a pill and kill me if that happens more years of Obama. He very well knows what he is doing and has not been stoped as of yet on everything because the judges are mostly on his side in court.

I agree with all the comments concerning this subject. But where is the rest of America on these subjects? Are they doing anything about it? They are probably letting you and I make the comments and to get into harms way. We need to fire up the base of our party. Center right and to the right, further right the better. It is up to us to get the others talking and squaking out loud in each of their individual parts of America. Make b HUSSEIN obama who is not a U.S. citizen because the provided birth certificate is a forgery, an impeeched or one term president.

There is also a tax on real estate transactions that is included in Obamacare.
This tax will further hobble any potential real estate recovery.
It makes one think the democrats are really trying to collapse the economy.
